About this event

The Night Valencia Burns: La CremĂ  2026
Witness the soul-stirring finale of the Fallas festival. On the night of March 19th, Valencia transforms into a city of fire as over 700 towering monuments are reduced to ashes. This is not just a bonfire; it is a centuries-old ritual of renewal, satire, and incredible pyrotechnic skill.

From the delicate Fallas Infantiles to the satirical giants of the city centre, every street corner becomes a stage for a spectacular send-off.

  • The Atmosphere: Experience the heat of the flames and the roar of the crowds as the Casales Falleros say goodbye to a year of hard work.
  • The Ritual: Watch the Bombers (firefighters) expertly manage the blaze, spraying water on balconies while the monuments collapse into glowing embers.
  • The Symbolism: Join thousands in the symbolic act of burning the old to make way for the new.

📍 Where & When It Happens

La CremĂ  happens everywhere in the city, but these are the three most important locations to list:

  1. The Main Event (La Falla Municipal):
    • Address: Plaça de l'Ajuntament, 46002 València
    • Time: Usually starts at 23:00 (Falla Municipal). This is the biggest and most crowded site.
  2. The Winners (Special Section):
    • Address: Usually in the Ruzafa or El Pilar neighbourhoods (check the 2026 award winners on the night).
    • Time: The first-prize monument typically burns at 22:30.
  3. The Children’s Fallas (Fallas Infantiles):
    • Address: Every street corner that has a monument (over 350 locations).
    • Time: Starts at 20:00.

The Final Night: 19 March 2026 Schedule
Time     Event    Location
20:00 (8 PM)    Burning of Children’s Fallas . Every neighborhood
21:00 (9 PM)    Municipal Children's Falla.  Plaza del Ayuntamiento
22:00 (10 PM)  Burning of Large Fallas.  Every neighborhood
23:00 (11 PM)  The Grand Finale (Main Falla).  Plaza del Ayuntamiento

Fire Parade: Before the burning starts, there is a Fire Parade (Cabalgata del Fuego) at 19:00 (7 PM). It starts at Calle de la Paz and ends at Porta de la Mar, serving as the official prelude to the night's fires.

  • Expect Delays: The fires are staggered so the Fire Brigade can move from one to the next.
  • Dress Code: Don't wear your best clothes—ash and "fire-snow" fall from the sky.
  • Safety: Follow the instructions of the local police and stay behind the security cordons..
