The show, titled “La màgia dels colors” (The Magic of Colors), will use 80.5 kilograms of gunpowder launched from 12 points. With an approximate duration of 5 minutes, it promises a visually and sonically intense experience. The design is structured in three phases.
Valencia will once again light up with gunpowder and colour on Monday 1 June as a special fireworks display arrives in Plaza del Ayuntamiento for the prestigious Rei Jaume I Awards 2026!
At 20:00, Pirotecnia Tomás will fire a brand new show titled “La màgia dels colors” — The Magic of Colours — right in the heart of the city.
The display will last around 5 minutes and will use more than 80 kilos of pyrotechnic material launched from 12 different firing points across Plaza del Ayuntamiento, promising an intense mix of colour, rhythm, thunder and digital effects.
According to the details released, the show will build through three powerful phases:
Daylight visual effects and sound
Crackling sequences, whistles and evolving rhythms
Thunder, streamers, digital effects and a huge ground-shaking finale
The fireworks form part of the celebrations surrounding the prestigious Rei Jaume I Awards, one of Spain’s most important recognitions for science, research and business innovation.
