Macromascletà Universal 2026
The Macromascletà Universal is held to celebrate and promote Valencia's deeply-rooted pyrotechnic traditions outside of the main city center.
Schedule of Events:
- 17:00: Event kickoff with the "Macro DJ Party" featuring local and guest artists.
- 21:00: The main fireworks event—the Macromascletà Universal—igniting over 300 kilos of gunpowder in a massive display of sound and rhythm.
- 21:15: The party resumes with live music, DJ sets, and a festival atmosphere.
- 03:00: Event conclusion.
A high-intensity pyrotechnic show that is significantly louder and larger than the standard daily mascletàs. The venue includes food trucks and beverage stands to accommodate the crowds throughout the afternoon and night.
Address
Avenida del Levante U.D., s/n, 46025 València, Spain
The display and festival take place on the large open ground (explanada) located between the Benicalap and Ciutat Fallera neighbourhoods.

The event is managed by the Federació Amics de la Pólvora de Benicalap (BENIFAP). Since they are a local federation of festival commissions, they also post regular updates on their Facebook and Instagram accounts under the name Benifap.

Travel Tips
Night Service: On the night of the event (Saturday, 20 June), both the Metro and EMT buses operate late. Metrovalencia typically runs until approximately 02:00 am, and EMT night buses operate until 03:15 am.
Crowds: Because the display is so popular, expect stations like Trànsits to be very busy immediately following the 21:00 blast. Walking a bit further to Beniferri can often save you time.
