More than an exhibition, THE ROUTE: MODERNITY, CULTURE AND EXCESS is a sensory journey through Valencia in the 1980s and 1990s. Across more than 2,000 m², you’ll rediscover the spaces, sounds, and symbols of the famous Ruta del Bakalao—a cultural revolution that forever transformed nightlife in Europe.
From testimonies of its main figures to original pieces from the era, immersive installations, light and sound effects, and virtual reality experiences—everything is designed to make you feel the energy of that time.
