Master the Art of Authentic Paella: Market Tour & Cooking Class

Step into the kitchen and uncover the secrets of Spain’s most iconic dish in the city where it was born!

Your journey begins at the vibrant Mercado Central, one of Europe’s oldest running food markets. Guided by a local expert, you’ll weave through stalls of aromatic saffron, fresh butter beans, and local poultry to hand-pick the freshest ingredients for your feast.

From the market, you’ll head to a professional kitchen to meet your chef. With a glass of local wine in hand, you’ll take your place at a private cooking station. This isn't just a demonstration—it's a hands-on, step-by-step masterclass. You’ll learn the "local only" tricks for achieving the perfect socarrat (that delicious crunchy bottom layer) and the balance of traditional Valencian spices.

While your paella simmers to perfection, enjoy a selection of traditional tapas. Finally, sit down with your fellow cooks to savour your creation, paired with regional wines and a sweet local dessert to round off the afternoon.
