  • Lemon pie : A shortcrust pastry base is left to cool and then shaped into tartlets for baking to create a crisp crust. It is then filled with lemon cream and topped with Italian meringue, which is torched during assembly to add a touch of tangy flavor.
  • Almond financier with mascarpone cream and raspberries: A delicate, golden sponge base infused with the unmistakable aroma of toasted almonds that caresses the nose. On top, a generous layer of mascarpone cream with its subtle freshness that melts in your mouth. To finish, raspberries add their tangy and juicy touch, bursting with every bite. A true delicacy.

Who is our chef who teaches this pastry class?

 

Esmeralda was a contestant on MasterChef season 4. Passionate about gastronomy in its various forms, she began as a self-taught cook. She is an avid reader and collector of culinary books and everything related to cooking and gastronomy.

 

After her participation in the fourth season of MasterChef, she decided to pursue professional training, graduating in Culinary Arts and Pastry. She also completed numerous supplementary courses with renowned chefs, including a master's degree in rice dishes.

 

In addition, she has worked professionally as head chef in several restaurants in Valencia. She combines this with cooking demonstrations and collaborations with food companies both in the Valencian Community and throughout Spain. She also leads cooking workshops for children, adults, and people with disabilities for various associations and municipalities. This is her current professional focus.
