LA RUTA VALENCIA | SUMMER EDITION 2026
About this event
LA RUTA VALENCIA – SUMMER EDITION 2026
Since the summer of 1965, Barraca opened its doors for the first time. Its walls have witnessed generations who found here a place where music beats stronger than anywhere else. By the mid-80s, it gained great popularity thanks to the rise of electronic music in Spain. During the peak of “La Ruta del Bacalao” — a movement that filled the Mediterranean coast, especially Valencia, with parties and festivals — Barraca didn’t just ride the wave; it became one of the main pillars of this underground scene.
It wasn’t just a spectator: it was a driving force behind a phenomenon that forever changed club culture in our country. Today, Barraca remains one of the most important clubs in Spain, with one of the most sought-after and acclaimed lineups on the national scene. Its four spaces — Circo, Barraca, Show Room, and Terraza — offer unique experiences that cement its status as an undisputed icon of clubbing. Barraca is resistance, culture, and movement. It’s the connection between past, present, and future, always true to a free spirit that can be felt in every room and in every sunrise at its doors.
