Why doesn't God restore sight to the blind? Why do we put up with toxic relationships for so long? Is it worse to be a woman than to be blind? What happened to me on my trip to Morocco? And what does King Juan Carlos have to do with relativity? I always thought being blind was the worst thing that had happened to me… until I had an accident and spent six months in a wheelchair. Since then, my perspective on what it means to be screwed has completely changed. That is the common thread of this monologue, in which I use humour to laugh at myself as much as at the victimist society I had let myself be dragged into.
