Experience the high-stakes drama of Giacomo Puccini’s legendary final opera. Set in a world of mystery and power, the cold Princess Turandot challenges her suitors with three deadly riddles: solve them and win her hand; fail, and face execution. When the brave Prince Calaf arrives, he gambles his life on love, leading to a confrontation that features one of the most famous arias in history, Nessun Dorma.
The Production
This is a "gigantic" and visually arresting staging by Àlex Ollé (La Fura dels Baus). Expect a sensory feast of lighting effects, immersive projections, and stunning costumes. The world-renowned Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana takes the pit, led by the baton of Sir Mark Elder.
